Students from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) recently created a candy-themed table for a good cause… and guess whose candy they used! Beginning as a project in a design class this summer and continuing on throughout the break, the installation of the space took place last week for a Dining By Design event in San Francisco held for DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS). This community service project (one of the city’s most highly anticipated high design charitable events) showcases the talent of top designers who create one-of-a-kind dining table installments. If you can’t tell from the pictures, this table-scape was created to resemble a sophisticated urban hip candy store — and it’s awesome! Thanks for letting us be a part of a great cause, FIDM!
